Four go off to a foundry

We were back to the foundry today to empty the sandpit and collect our bronzes. It was another beautiful spring day, the birds were singing though the peahen did not put in an appearance and we were also serenaded by the local church bells. Now comes some serious use of a wire brush and a hacksaw

Hotting up

A new sculpture, constructed from different timbers, needed to have the surface pulled together. Being mighty chilly right now, I decided to keep warm and deal with the sculpture by scorching it. This took far longer than I thought

almost done, some minor tidying up to do

Meanwhile Polly and Pedro stay inside in the warm, Pedro is so close to the fire he looks like he is on fire himself
